Quantum Data Adds ATC-Certified HDMI Technology to Video Test Generators
Elgin, Illinois / February 10, 2004 — Quantum Data has incorporated HDMI(tm) technology into its versatile 802BT and 802R video test generator models. The optional HDMI transmitter has been certified by an HDMI Authorized Testing Center (ATC) to be compliant with the High-Definition Multimedia Interface(tm) 1.0 specification.
To promote interoperability among HDMI devices, products must pass HDMI compliance testing prior to featuring the HDMI logo. The Quantum Data HDMI generator is useful for developing products that use HDMI technology, for pre-testing products before they are submitted to an ATC, and for testing HDMI products during manufacturing.
The Quantum Data HDMI generator is among the first HDMI test instruments to be ATC-certified, and is also one of the most complete source implementations of HDMI and EIA/CEA-861-B on the market today.
