Jeffrey A. Boccaccio
Jeffrey A. Boccaccio is President of In-Visions Technology Inc., a consulting firm specializing in prototype engineering, new product development and marketing. Jeff has been associated with the audio/video industry since his early teens. After engineering school, he successfully owned and operated a high-end audio/video retail store in Boston for several years. During that time, he was a consultant for companies such as McIntosh Laboratories and Tandberg of America. In 1992, he joined an A/V manufacture as Vice-President of Research and Development. The products that he designed has won numerous CEMA Innovation Awards and has been awarded several patents. This includes video format converters, HDMI peripherals, and video matrix systems.
Jeff has been active on several industry committees, including CEMA/FCC HDTV Petitions and Definitions Committees, including the Working Group 3. Jeff also is the contributing columnist for CEPro’s “HDMI Corner” and Wide Screen Review.
Jeff is currently focused in on the development of the latest High Speed Digital Signaling applications for the future.
Being on the ground floor of technology along with the recent changes in the industry, combined with his creative engineering skills earned him the recognition of being a authority on new technology in the audio/video industry. He has presented seminars with subject matter such as Radio Frequency Technology, High Definition Television, High Speed Digital Signaling (HDMI) and New Technology’s at CES, CEDIA Regional and CEDIA EXPO. He has also been the keynote speaker at many specialty audio/video retail events, distribution companies, and A/V manufacturers.
